On May 22, 2024, Vietnam Report and VietNamNet announced the VIX50 Ranking - Top 50 public companies 2024. The ceremony to honor businesses will take place in August in Hanoi. With the results achieved, PVI is included in the VIX 50 Ranking - Top 50 public companies 2024. This is the first time PVI is honored to be in this prestigious Ranking.
In the context of the stock market developing in a sustainable, safe and transparent direction, building reputation is a top task for public enterprises because reputation is a valuable intangible asset of each business, which has a great influence on the image of the business in the public as well as the decisions of investors and stakeholders, which is the basis for sustainable development and enhancing business value.
In order to honor public companies with stable financial capacity and good business performance, the brand has been trusted by many investors in recent times and has contributed positively to the overall development of the stock market. Recently, Vietnam Report has researched, developed and announced the Ranking of Top 50 Public Companies 2024 (VIX50).
Implementing the 2024 business plan in the context of general difficulties of the global economy and the impact of unpredictable changes in the corporate bond market, real estate, banking,... the entire PVI system has developed specific plans to quickly adapt to economic fluctuations and limit negative impacts on PVI's business activities as well as update action plans to adapt to changes of the economy. With the correct direction of the PVI Board of Directors, by the end of Q1 2024, the entire PVI system exceeded the plan for the consolidated revenue and pre-tax profit targets assigned by the Board of Directors at the respective rates are 137% and 143%. Specifically, consolidated revenue in the first quarter reached 6,504 billion VND, growing 50% over the same period last year, completing 37.4% of the yearly plan. Consolidated pre-tax profit reached 446 billion VND, up 40% over the same period last year, of which financial investment activities accounted for a large proportion of the profit structure, accounting for 48.9%. PVI's consolidated business results include operating results from subsidiaries, PVI Opportunity Investment Fund and PVI Infrastructure Fund.
