THE OPENING CEREMONY OF WATER SUPPLY PROJECT IN YEN BAI PROVINCE AND PRESENT GIFTS TO PEOPLE & STUDENTS WHO AFFECTED BY STORM NO.3

Implementing PVI's Sustainable Development Program in 2024, on October 3rd, 2024, PVI - the Project sponsor, in coordination with the Center for Center for research on initiatives of community development (RIC) and the local authority of Mu Cang Chai District, Yen Bai Province, held the opening ceremony of the water supply project for people of Hang Co Bua Village, Pung Luong Commune, Mu Cang Chai District, Yen Bai Province.

STORY IN NA SAI VILLAGE: NEW HOUSE AND BRIGHT SMILES

"From now on, the family is no longer afraid of big storms."

That is the confession of Mr. Luong Van Thu's mother (Na Sai Village, Hua Pang Commune, Moc Chau District, Son La Province) when the delegation visited and handed over the charity house sponsored by PVI in last June 17.

Located deep in the village, Mr. Luong Van Thu's family consists of 5 people living together and is a poor household with extremely difficult circumstances in Na Sai village. Before the survey, the old house of Mr. Luong Van Thu's family was seriously degraded, the roof was dilapidated, and the walls shook every time there was a strong wind. He and his wife are farmers, their life depends mainly on unstable crops. Whenever there were difficulties, he could only sigh and worry about the future of his whole family, especially the house he was living in that could collapse at any time.

ONE DROP OF BLOOD - A MILLION HEARTS

Donating blood to save lives - a noble gesture that demonstrates the long-standing tradition of mutual love of the Vietnamese people; is an act of sharing and helping many sick people who need precious drops of blood to maintain life... With that spirit, on the morning of May 16, 2024, the Voluntary Blood Donation program "One Drop of Blood - A Million hearts" organized by PVI Trade Union - Youth Union in coordination with the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion took place successfully. This is also a practical action for PVI to respond to the annual International Blood Donor Day and is one program of PVI's sustainable development program in 2024.
This year, the program received the response of more than 300 participants who are PVI employees, member units of PVI, member units of PVI Insurance in the Northern region and other working units. at PVI building. At the end of the Festival, 283 units of blood were collected, making a small contribution to Hanoi City's blood bank.

Implementing PVI's Sustainable Development Program in 2024, On May 14, 2024, PVI - the project sponsor coordinated with RIC Community Development Initiative Research Center - the project implementation unit and The local government of Tan Duyet commune held a Commencement of the Project "Construction of domestic water supply works in Dong Tam A hamlet, Tan Duyet commune, Dam Doi district, Ca Mau province".

OPENING CEREMONY OF DOMESTIC WATER AND WATERFOREST PLANATION PROJECT IN NA SANG VILLAGE, CHIENG XUAN COMMUNE, VAN HO DISTRICT, SON LA PROVINCE

On September 21, 2023, PVI coordinated with the Community Development Initiative Research Center (RIC) to organize the opening ceremony and signposting of the domestic water project combined with watershed afforestation activities in Na Sang village, Chieng Xuan commune, Van Ho district, Son La province. The activity is within the framework of the project "Construction and renovation of domestic water works in Na Sang village, Chieng Xuan commune, Van Ho district, Son La province".

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Duong Thanh Danh Francois - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVI, Mr. Do Tien Thanh - Deputy CEO of PVI - Person in charge of sustainable development, Mr. Alexander Nicolai Neumann - Market Management APAC at HDI Global SE along with representatives of PVI’s Divisions, Trade Unions and Youth Unions. Representatives of RIC were attended by Mr. Le Van Hai - director of the center and project implementation staffs.

Voluntary blood donation 2023

On May 31, 2023, at the headquarters of PVI Tower, PVI Trade Union - PVI Youth Union in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion organized the annual program of voluntary blood donation 2023.

This is a practical program to respond to the International Blood Donor Day on June 14 every year, to welcome the Congress of Trade Union delegates of PVI  for the term 2023-2028, to continue to maintain and multiply the blood donation acitivities with many humanistic meanings in the community, promoting the cultural beauty of PVI.

PVI - Social Responsibility

On March 23, 2023, PVI cooperated with Moc Chau District Youth Union, Son La province to organize a charity program at the site of Kindergarten, Primary & Secondary Schools in Suoi Khem - Pa Hoc village, Phieng Luong commune, Moc Chau district, Son La Province. PVI donated water purifiers, televisions, primary school textbooks and school supplies to the students. This is a series of activities in PVI's 2023 sustainable development program and also the second time PVI organizes a social security program in Moc Chau, Son La province.

In the morning of December 23, 2022, at the headquarters of PVI Insurance Corporation, the Trade Union - PVI Youth Union coordinated with the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Day "One drop of red blood, many shares. divide".
