On the evening of November 26, at the VinPalace Convention Center in Hanoi, the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee, in coordination with the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Central Committee, solemnly held the Award Ceremony for the Red Star – Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs 2025.

The ceremony was honored to welcome: Mr. Đỗ Văn Chiến, Member of the Politburo, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Mr. Hồ Quốc Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Phạm Tất Thắng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization; Mr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Policy and Strategy; Mr. Bùi Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee along with representatives of ministries, agencies, and nearly 1,500 delegates.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and the State, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Đỗ Văn Chiến congratulated the 100 outstanding young Vietnamese entrepreneurs honored with the Red Star Award 2025—an esteemed and prestigious award presented by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Federation, and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association over the past 26 years. He emphasized that the 100 outstanding young entrepreneurs recognized today are vivid proof of a Vietnamese young generation that is intelligent, dynamic, ambitious, and devoted—committed to creating prosperity for themselves and contributing to the nation’s development.

Mr. Trịnh Anh Tuấn, Chief Executive Officer of Hanoi Reinsurance Corporation (Hanoi Re), has been honored in the Top 30 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs – Red Star Award 2025. This recognition comes at a pivotal time as Hanoi Re continues to solidify its trajectory of sustainable growth, comprehensive transformation, and an expanding international footprint.

In recent years, Hanoi Re has achieved strong results despite a volatile global reinsurance market and significant natural catastrophe impacts on Vietnam’s insurance sector. The company has maintained stable growth, disciplined portfolio management, and a robust capital position. During 2020–2024, Hanoi Re recorded an average annual premium growth of nearly 14%, with pre-tax profit increasing by 11% per year. Total contributions to the state budget reached VND 423 billion from 2016–2024.

Its consistent dividend policy—maintained at 16% for eight consecutive years and increased to 17% in 2025—further demonstrates financial effectiveness and delivers tangible value to shareholders.

Hanoi Re now operates in more than 50 countries and territories, strengthening its presence across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

As part of its brand repositioning strategy, Hanoi Re has completed its charter capital increase to VND 1,044 billion—an important foundation for enhancing retention and expanding underwriting capacity. The renaming from PVI Re to Hanoi Re, together with the new corporate identity, marks not only the company’s maturity but also its ambition to become a Vietnamese reinsurer meeting international standards. The company continues to hold a Financial Strength Rating of B++ (Good), Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of bbb with a Positive Outlook from AM Best, reflecting disciplined underwriting, strong risk management, and adherence to international audit and governance standards.

The Red Star Award, held every three years, features a rigorous multi-layered selection process assessing business performance, governance quality, and societal contributions. In 2025, more than 300 candidates nationwide underwent independent screening rounds and on-site evaluations.
Being selected among the Top 30 underscores not only the CEO’s leadership excellence but also the discipline, innovation, and breakthrough spirit of the entire Hanoi Re team within the insurance–reinsurance industry.
