From May 14 to 16, 2025, Hanoi Re International Conference 2025 (HRIC 2025) was successfully held in Dalat City, Lam Dong, Vietnam. This marked the first international reinsurance conference initiated by a Vietnamese enterprise, under the theme: “Connecting Leaders, Sharing Visions at 1500.”
The event brought together over 180 senior executives from 16 countries and territories, including representatives of reinsurance companies, insurance firms, brokers, and loss adjusters. The conference was honored to welcome Deputy Minister of Finance H.E. Mr. Le Tan Can, Director General of Insurance Supervisory Authority Mr. Ngo Viet Trung, alongside other high-ranking officials from state regulatory authority and Vietnam Insurance Association.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Minister Le Tan Can recognized the efforts of the insurance and reinsurance community in responding to disasters, particularly Typhoon Yagi in 2024. He also emphasized the importance of international cooperation in developing a sustainable market.
Mr. Ngo Viet Trung, Director General of Insurance Supervisory Authority, called on reinsurers and brokers, both local and overseas, to enhance collaboration and support the development of the non-life insurance market, ensuring timely responses to market and regulatory demands.

In addition to the keynotes, attendees engaged in vibrant discussions, sharing practical insights and valuable experiences. The dynamic and multidimensional exchanges reinforced HRIC 2025 as a platform for open, in-depth, and constructive dialogue among insurance sector stakeholders.
Beyond professional content, the conference also featured cultural and local showcases, including ethnic musical performances, live traditional embroidery demonstrations, tea tasting, and sampling of Dalat’s signature products. These activities were warmly received and highly praised by international guests.
A charity initiative was also held to support victims of Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam and the earthquake in Myanmar. It attracted generous contributions from attendees, raising a total of VND 226,588,000. The funds will be delivered to authorized agencies and organizations to ensure proper and transparent use.
