PVI Insurance continues to make its mark on the international stage, earning recognition among the Top 3 “General Insurance Companies of the Year” at the 29th Asia Insurance Industry Awards (AIIA) — one of the most prestigious accolades in the regional insurance industry.

PVI Insurance is honored among the TOP 3 “Non-Life Insurance Companies of the Year” at the 29th Asia Insurance Industry Awards (AIIA)
From Vietnam to Asia – A Continental Milestone
The AIIA is an annual, highly respected event organized by Asia Insurance Review (AIR), the leading insurance publication in the Asia-Pacific region. The awards honor organizations and individuals that demonstrate outstanding performance, innovation, and contributions to the insurance and reinsurance industry, as well as to the wider community.
Bringing together top insurers and financial institutions across Asia, the recognition of PVI Insurance in the Top 3 “General Insurance Company of the Year” category is a testament to the company’s strength, professionalism, and global vision — a remarkable achievement for a Vietnamese enterprise on the international stage.
The AIIA judging panel praised PVI Insurance for its strong growth, transparent risk management, and comprehensive digital transformation strategy — key factors that have solidified its leadership in Vietnam’s non-life insurance market.
In 2024, PVI Insurance achieved VND 20.4 trillion (approx. USD 800 million) in total revenue, marking a 40% year-on-year increase. By September 2025, the company had already surpassed its full-year targets, achieving VND 21.5 trillion (USD 860 million) in revenue and VND 1.15 trillion (USD 46 million) in pre-tax profit — an exceptional performance amid a challenging global insurance environment.
Concurrently, PVI Insurance has maintained its A– (Excellent) financial strength rating from AM Best for three consecutive years, reflecting robust financial stability and credibility. With its charter capital recently raised to VND 4.32 trillion (USD 173 million), PVI Insurance continues to enhance its financial capacity and international collaboration potential.

In reinsurance, the company recorded double-digit growth, significantly contributing to overall results and reaffirming its global market competence. PVI also leads the way in digital transformation, expanding its bancassurance, e-commerce, and B2B2C channels, allowing customers to access services quickly, transparently, and efficiently.
Of particular note is PVI’ Insurance s innovative “Risk Partner” model, which shifts the company’s role from a traditional insurer to a strategic risk management partner, accompanying clients throughout the entire risk lifecycle — a key factor behind its strong performance at the 2025 AIIA.
Being named among the Top 3 General Insurance Companies of the Year not only recognizes PVI Insurance’s remarkable achievements but also represents a milestone for Vietnam’s insurance industry on its path toward global integration.
From a domestic brand, PVI Insurance has grown into a regional player, participating in major reinsurance projects across China, Malaysia, Germany, the United States, and other markets — steadily building its reputation as a Vietnamese insurer with international standing.
With its current growth trajectory, PVI Insurance is moving closer to becoming Vietnam’s first USD 1 billion non-life insurer, targeting over VND 1 trillion in profit by 2025.
Mr. Duong Thanh Francois – Chairman of the Members’ Council, shared:
“This honor is a meaningful recognition of our relentless efforts to maintain PVI’ Insurance leadership in Vietnam’s non-life insurance market while proudly representing Vietnamese excellence in the Asian insurance industry — reflecting our strength, credibility, and ambition for global reach.”
